These Terms of Service govern the use of the TradeBinder platform and services provided by TradeBinder LLC. By accessing or using TradeBinder, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the platform.
1. Overview
TradeBinder is an online platform that allows collectors and vendors to buy, sell, and trade trading cards. TradeBinder may provide services including marketplace listings, transaction processing, escrow services, card verification, and communication tools.
TradeBinder acts as a platform provider and does not take ownership of items listed by users.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features of TradeBinder, users may be required to create an account.
Users agree to:
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of their account credentials
• Accept responsibility for activity conducted through their account
TradeBinder may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Marketplace Transactions
Users may buy, sell, or trade trading cards through the TradeBinder platform.
TradeBinder may facilitate transactions through:
• Escrow services
• Payment processing services
• Card verification services
TradeBinder does not guarantee that transactions between users will be completed successfully.
Users remain responsible for fulfilling their obligations in any transaction.
4. Escrow and Card Verification
Certain transactions may be processed through TradeBinder escrow services.
During escrow transactions:
• Cards may be sent to TradeBinder or a designated verification service
• Cards may be inspected to confirm they match the agreed transaction
• Funds may be held until verification and transaction completion
Verification performed by TradeBinder or its partners represents a good faith review but does not guarantee absolute authenticity or condition.
5. Fees
TradeBinder may charge processing fees, transaction fees, subscription fees, or other service fees.
Fees may include costs related to:
• escrow handling
• card verification
• payment processing
• marketplace services
All applicable fees will be disclosed before completing a transaction.
6. Payments
Payments may be processed through third party payment providers such as Stripe.
TradeBinder does not store full payment card information.
Users agree to comply with the terms and policies of any payment providers used by the platform.
7. Shipping Responsibilities
Users are responsible for properly packaging and shipping items related to their transactions.
TradeBinder may provide shipping tools or labels but is not responsible for damage, loss, or delays caused by shipping carriers.
8. Disputes
If a dispute arises between users regarding a transaction, TradeBinder may assist in reviewing the issue.
TradeBinder reserves the right to make reasonable determinations regarding escrow transactions based on available evidence.
TradeBinder’s decisions regarding escrow outcomes are final.
9. Prohibited Conduct
Users agree not to:
• List counterfeit or fraudulent items
• Attempt to bypass platform safeguards
• Engage in harassment or abuse of other users
• Manipulate listings, reviews, or transactions
TradeBinder may suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited conduct.
10. Limitation of Liability
TradeBinder provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
TradeBinder LLC is not responsible for:
• losses arising from user transactions
• counterfeit or misrepresented items
• shipping issues caused by carriers
• disputes between users
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TradeBinder’s liability is limited to the fees paid to TradeBinder for the transaction in question.
11. Platform Availability
TradeBinder may update, modify, or discontinue parts of the platform at any time.
TradeBinder does not guarantee uninterrupted or error free access to the platform.
12. Changes to Terms
TradeBinder may update these Terms from time to time.
Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which TradeBinder LLC operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
